Which size should I choose?
Evara comes in 15.7" (40cm), 19.7" (50cm) and 24" (60cm) diameters. Choose 15.7" for a bedroom or small hall, and 19.7" or 24" over a dining table or in a larger room.
How is Evara installed?
Evara is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and hangs on an adjustable cord of up to 4.9ft (1.5m), with a 6" (15.2cm) canopy. We recommend a licensed electrician for installation.
What kind of light does Evara create?
The wavy, layered shade surrounds the bulb and diffuses its light, spreading a gentle, even glow across nearby surfaces with no harsh glare.
Where does Evara work best?
Evara suits bedrooms, dining areas and entryways. Its soft, layered shade makes it a calm centerpiece over a bed or table, or a welcoming first impression in a hall.
What is Evara made of?
Evara is made of aluminum with acrylic and parchment-style shade layers in a white finish. The curved edges give it a soft, almost paper-like quality.
Are bulbs included?
It depends on the fixture. Integrated LED fixtures have the light source built in, so there is nothing to buy. For fixtures with sockets, the options above and the Product Specifications tab show whether bulbs are included and which type fits.
Warm white or cool white: which should I pick?
Warm white (around 3000K) gives a soft, golden glow that suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas. Cool white (around 6000K) is crisper and brighter, better for kitchens, offices and bathrooms. If you are unsure, warm white is the cozier choice for most Japandi spaces.
