How to Create a Japandi Bedroom
The bedroom is where Japandi design makes the most measurable difference. A complete guide to bedding, lighting, color, and the one decision that changes everything.
Most homes are lit like offices. Learn how color temperature, layered light sources, and bamboo pendants transform any room after dark - starting with a single bulb change.
Bamboo, linen, ceramic, borosilicate glass, rattan. The materials that define a Japandi home - where they come from, what makes a good version of each, and why they age better than anything synthetic.
Our Story & News
The tea sets worked. The linen worked. The lighting worked. But the floor kept pulling focus. That's what eventually became our rugs collection.
We hung a bamboo pendant in our workspace and left it there. A few days later three people independently said the room felt different. That's why we now carry lighting.
A customer wrote to us in 2022 describing exactly the bedding she was looking for. We didn't have it yet. Three years later, we finally do.
