Which size should I choose?
Toru comes in two heights, both 3.9" (10cm) wide: 13.8" (35cm) and 19.6" (50cm). The shorter size suits bedside walls and tight hallways, while the taller one makes more of a statement in an entry or beside a larger piece of furniture.
How is Toru installed?
Toru is a fixed wall fixture designed for direct installation on a vertical surface and wired into your home's electrical supply. We recommend having a licensed electrician mount and connect it.
What kind of light does Toru create?
The alabaster stone panel lets light pass through it, so Toru gives a soft, diffused glow rather than a sharp beam. The stone's natural veining shows up when the lamp is on, which adds quiet warmth to the wall.
Where does the Toru wall lamp work best?
Toru is made for indoor walls, and its compact form suits hallways, bedrooms and entry areas. Use a pair on either side of a bed or a doorway, or a single lamp to bring a soft glow to a narrow corridor.
What finishes and light colors are available?
The metal frame comes in gold or black. You can choose Warm White (3000K), Neutral White (4000K) or Cool White (6000K). For a calm bedroom or hallway, warm white brings out the honey tones of the alabaster best.
Are bulbs included?
It depends on the fixture. Integrated LED fixtures have the light source built in, so there is nothing to buy. For fixtures with sockets, the options above and the Product Specifications tab show whether bulbs are included and which type fits.
Warm white or cool white: which should I pick?
Warm white (around 3000K) gives a soft, golden glow that suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas. Cool white (around 6000K) is crisper and brighter, better for kitchens, offices and bathrooms. If you are unsure, warm white is the cozier choice for most Japandi spaces.
