- Diffuser. Use only a soft, damp microfibre cloth. Paper towels and alcohol can scratch or cloud acrylic.
- Metal finish. Use a dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid abrasive and ammonia-based cleaners, which can strip the finish.
- Built-in LED. No bulbs to change. Never open the housing; if a light stops working, contact us.

Which length should I choose?
Altera comes in 16.1" (41 cm), 22" (56 cm), 31.5" (80 cm) and 39.4" (100 cm). As a guide, choose a length close to the width of the mirror, headboard or artwork it sits above.
How is Altera installed?
Altera is wall mounted and runs on 85 to 265V. Mounting hardware is included, and we recommend a licensed electrician for hardwired installation.
What kind of light does Altera give?
The diffuser spreads the light evenly along the length of the bar, giving a smooth line of light across the wall with little glare. It is practical for mirrors and calm for living spaces.
Where does the Altera wall lamp work best?
Altera suits bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas. Its slim bar shape is ideal above a vanity mirror, over a headboard, or above artwork and shelving.
What materials and finishes are available?
Altera has an aluminum body with an acrylic diffuser, in white, black, silver, gold or brown. It weighs about 0.5 kg (1.1 lbs), so it is light and easy to mount.
Are bulbs included?
It depends on the fixture. Integrated LED fixtures have the light source built in, so there is nothing to buy. For fixtures with sockets, the options above and the Product Specifications tab show whether bulbs are included and which type fits.
Warm white or cool white: which should I pick?
Warm white (around 3000K) gives a soft, golden glow that suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas. Cool white (around 6000K) is crisper and brighter, better for kitchens, offices and bathrooms. If you are unsure, warm white is the cozier choice for most Japandi spaces.
