Care
- Switch off first. Turn it off at the wall or unplug it, and let it cool fully before you clean it.
- Diffuser. Use only a soft, damp microfibre cloth. Paper towels and alcohol can scratch or cloud acrylic.
- Metal finish. Use a dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid abrasive and ammonia-based cleaners, which can strip the finish.
- Bulbs. Use LED bulbs at or below the rated wattage. Warm white (2700-3000K) suits most rooms.

What kind of light does Orballa give?
The spherical acrylic shade diffuses the bulb into a soft, rounded glow that spreads in multiple directions. It creates a relaxed, ambient feel rather than a focused reading beam.
Can I choose the light colour?
Yes. Warm White gives a soft, cosy glow, Cool White a crisp daylight tone. 3-Color Switch lets you move between warm, neutral and cool light at the switch. RGB + Remote adds a remote control to change colour and brightness from the sofa, so the lamp can go from reading light to a soft coloured mood light.
Where does the Orballa floor lamp work best?
Orballa suits living rooms, bedrooms and entry areas. Place it beside a sofa or armchair, or in an empty corner, to add soft ambient light to a space of about 54 to 108 sq ft (5 to 10 m²).
What is Orballa made of?
Orballa has an iron frame with a plated chrome-look finish and an acrylic ball shade. The glossy frame contrasts nicely with the soft, glowing sphere.
Which shade color should I choose?
The White lampshade gives a clean, neutral glow that fits any palette. The Yellow lampshade tints the light warmer and adds a gentle, retro touch to the room.
What bulb does Orballa use?
Each globe takes one E27 bulb, not included: one for single-globe styles, two or three for the multi-globe styles. Choose a warm bulb for a cozy evening mood or a white bulb for a brighter, cleaner tone.
Which style should I choose?
Single Globe and Globe on Stand suit a corner or bedside. Two and Three Globes make a sculptural statement beside a sofa. The floor-to-ceiling poles need a ceiling of 98-110 in (250-280 cm) and fit narrow walls or stair landings.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
Hardwired fixtures (pendants, chandeliers, ceiling and most wall lights) connect to your existing junction box, and we recommend having a licensed electrician install them. Plug-in floor and table lamps need no installation. Mounting hardware comes in the box, and the Installation Guide tab above covers the steps.
Warm white or cool white: which should I pick?
Warm white (around 3000K) gives a soft, golden glow that suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas. Cool white (around 6000K) is crisper and brighter, better for kitchens, offices and bathrooms. If you are unsure, warm white is the cozier choice for most Japandi spaces.

Really a wonderful lamp! The steel frame is very sturdy and easy to assemble. The bulb is made of plastic, but you can't see that from the outside. The cord is cleverly integrated into the tube and the connection is quick. You unscrew the bulb and then you can put any e27 bulb you want in it. The product arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected and was neatly and securely packaged. A real recommendation!
